CHARGES

STAGE 1 IS FREE. This involves a telephone conference during which an indication of the likely issues will emerge. We need to establish a number of facts, which will provide an indication of the amount of work likely to be required. From this it should be possible to provide a quote.

The work required depends more on the complexity of the premises and the nature of its use, rather than on an analysis based on size or volume.

STAGE 2, SURVEY

Charges are based on £20 per hour.

LARGER BUSINESSES.

In the case of large or complex premises, it may not be possible to regard the survey response as being an adequate "Fire Risk Assessment". The reply will constitute a general analysis of the situation found, and a proposed way forward. It will highlight any obvious dangers or areas where non compliance is evident.

Extensive studies may be necessary before it will be possible to identify all the relevant issues, and potential solutions, i.e. a valid “Fire Risk Assessment" which could be offered as documentary evidence of compliance with the law.

Recommendations may require significant detail and explanation, possibly involving the annotation of plans.

Stage 3, ONGOING

An authentic "Fire Risk Assessment" is the first stage in complying with the new Fire Safety Order. The responsible person then needs to take steps to implement its findings. C.J.G Fire Safety Services offers on going consultation in that process, and in any other day to day fire safety issues.
